Iran Joins AHAC Board of Directors
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Halal Certifiers (AHAC) during the 5th General Assembly of the association held in Turkey.
Ebrahimi, representing the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI), was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the association.
Active participation in interactional meetings along with the pioneers of the halal industry and its stakeholders, mulling over the current trends and new orientations in the halal market, and coordinating the process of issuing halal certificates in Iran and the world, and ultimately facilitating trade are among the important achievements of this membership.
The 5th General Assembly of the Association of Halal Certifiers (AHAC) was held in Turkey’s Istanbul with the participation of representatives of the member states.
The Association of Halal Certifiers (AHAC) was founded with the aim of meeting the needs of organizations active in the food and cosmetic industries to obtain halal and safe products and is responsible for determining the general requirements of the AHAC Halal Certification Program.
The main goal of the association is to develop halal certification among beneficiaries and stakeholders throughout the world and to create a safe and reliable chain in this structure.
