Iranian President to Visit Turkey

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi is going to visit Turkey on Tuesday.

Raisi will pay an official visit to Turkey on Tuesday to hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Sputnik reported.

The two presidents are expected to discuss the situation in Gaza following weeks of Israeli military strikes as well as other pressing issues in the Middle East.

On Tuesday, reports came out in Iran that the presidential visit to Turkey has been postponed.

More than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 7.

A ceasefire in Gaza that came into effect last week has been extended for another two days.
