Palestinian Resistance Movement Condemns US President for Repeating Israel’s Allegations

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas slammed the US president for echoing Israel's allegations following the surprise Al-Aqsa Storm operation on October 7.

The movement condemned Joe Biden for endorsing Israel's claims that Hamas fighters committed heinous acts during the October 7 operation.

"Reports of women raped — repeatedly raped — and their bodies being mutilated while still alive, of women's corpses being desecrated, Hamas (fighters) inflicting as much pain and suffering on women and girls as possible and then murdering them. It is appalling," Biden said recently.

In response, Hamas said Biden’s behavior proves his moral decline since he has just repeated Israel’s false claims about resistance fighters.

Hamas stated that these allegations aim to conceal "war crimes" committed by the Israeli regime against Palestinians, using American weapons.

Calling for international media to debunk these accusations, Hamas referenced prior false claims of beheading children or using hospitals as command centers.

Israel's aggression on Gaza since October 7 has claimed more than 16,000 lives, mostly women and children.

The Israeli army resumed bombings in Gaza after a week-long truce, continuing air strikes and ground operations two months into their conflict with Palestinians.

In southern Gaza's Khan Yunis, battles intensified as Israeli forces pushed their offensive, attacking a hospital area and residential buildings, resulting in at least 45 Palestinians dead and numerous injuries.

Meanwhile, Muslim American leaders in swing states expressed opposition to Biden's re-election bid due to his staunch support for Israel. Community leaders gathered in Dearborn, Michigan, protesting Biden's reluctance to call for a Gaza ceasefire, suggesting potential impact on his support in critical swing states next year.
