Palestinian Teen Fatally Shot by Israeli Forces in Occupied West Bank

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Seventeen-year-old Ahmad Yousef Yaghi was killed in an Israeli forces' shooting during a raid at the al-Fawwar refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, as reported by Wafa news agency.

The raid resulted in Yaghi's death and left one person injured, confirmed by the Palestine Ministry of Health.

Further instances of Israeli military activity were reported in Bethlehem, Tulkarem, and Qalqiya overnight, marking a series of intensified incursions across the region.

In another incident, Israeli forces executed demolitions in the Nur Shams refugee camp, destroying three houses in the occupied West Bank. Reports from an Al Jazeera correspondent detailed the use of bulldozers during the operation, emphasizing a forceful and significant presence in the area.

The incursion, lasting eight hours, notably marked a substantial military action in Nur Shams, Tulkarem, resembling the magnitude of events since October 7. Witnesses reported the deployment of drones and helicopters, underscoring the scale of the military operation.

The Israeli military surrounded several homes, leading to at least one house being demolished, and multiple arrests were reported amid the operation. Confrontations ensued, with Palestinian fighters engaging in sustained clashes, prompting Israeli forces to respond with snipers and gunfire towards civilian areas.

This pattern of military actions has been observed across various regions in the occupied West Bank, including Nablus, Tubas, Qalqilya, and Hebron (Al-Khalil), contributing to a distressing toll of casualties where 305 individuals have lost their lives, and more than 3,450 people have suffered injuries due to Israeli attacks.
