Ghalenoei Eager to Improve on His Previous Performance in Team Melli: AFC
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Iran national football team head coach Amir Ghalenoei is eager to improve on his previous performance at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.

Ghalenoei returned to take charge of Iran for the second time in the aftermath of the country’s involvement in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The former Esteghlal coach will be eager to improve on his previous performance at the upcoming tournament in Qatar.
Ghalenoei was in charge of Team Melli in 2007 when the Iranians crashed out in the quarter-finals in a penalty shoot-out against Korea Republic.
Team Melli has been drawn in Group C along with the UAE, Palestine and Hong Kong.
