Iran Loses to Belarus in Russia’s Handball Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s handball team lost to Belarus 29-28 in a four-team tournament in Moscow on Friday.
The tournament is participated by host Russia, Belarus, Morocco and Iran.
Team Melli of Iran is scheduled to meet Russia on Saturday.
Iran has participated in the event as part of preparation for the 2024 Asian Men's Handball Championship.
The Asian championship will be held in Manama, Bahrain, from January 11 to 25.
Iran has been drawn in Group B along with South Korea, China, and New Zealand.
