Hezbollah's Meron Base Attack Only Warning Shot in Response to Zionist Aggression

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Executive Council Chief of Hezbollah Seyyed Hashem Safi stressed that the attack on the Israeli 'Meron' base was just the beginning in answering the Zionist regime's attack on Beirut's southern suburb.

He noted that more responses from Hezbollah are imminent, indicating that all Israeli positions are potential missile targets.

Safi al-Din highlighted the ongoing confrontation with the Zionist enemy regarding the Israeli terrorist act in Beirut, which resulted in the death of Saleh al-Arouri, Hamas's Deputy Political Chief.

He underlined that countering this crime was vital for Hezbollah to support their nation and people, citing the 'Meron' base attack as just the initial retaliatory response, hinting at additional forthcoming actions by Hezbollah.

He outlined the strategic importance of their recent operation targeting a base on Palestine's highest peak. “This move conveyed multiple messages: firstly, exposing the 'Meron' base as an aerial control center supporting Israeli air force attacks. Thus, hitting this base directly confronted the occupiers,” Safi al-Din added.

Directly addressing the Zionists, he asserted that none of their bases are beyond the reach of resistance missiles, leaving no Israeli position immune to potential targeting.

Safi al-Din reiterated that the resistance targets any perceived threat to Lebanon, its people, and the broader Islamic world. “This initial strike served as a strong message: We maintain our strength and will send powerful messages to the enemy.

“As long as aggression against Gaza persists, Hezbollah's anti-Zionist operations continue,” he said.

He concluded by emphasizing Hezbollah's stance from the start which is to resist until aggressions on Gaza cease. “Protecting Lebanon and supporting Gaza remain religious, ethical, and national duties for the resistance,” he added.

Over the weekend, the Lebanese Islamic resistance movement announced targeting one of the key Zionist military bases, 'Meron,' with over 60 rockets. Situated on Mount Al-Jarmak, it's a vital command center for Israeli military operations in northern Palestine amid the ongoing conflict with the resistance.

According to Hezbollah, the 'Meron' air control base is the highest point in occupied Palestine and serves as the sole aerial management hub with no alternatives.
