Rahman Amouzad Wins Silver at Zagreb Open
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian freestyler Rahman Amouzad won a silver medal in the men’s 65kg category of the Zagreb Open Wednesday night.
Amouzad pulled out injured against Armenian Vazgen Tevanyan in the final.
Amouzad secured his spot on the Iran Olympic team as he defeated his compatriot Abbas Ebrahimzadeh 12-4 in the semifinals to settle the debate.
The Ranking Series event started on January 10 in Zagreb, Croatia with Freestyle, followed by Women's Wrestling, and end with Greco-Roman.
