Brentford Congratulates Saman Ghoddos
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – English football side Brentford congratulated its Iranian international winger Saman Ghoddos over booking a place in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup semifinals.
Team Melli defeated Japan 2-1 on Saturday in the quarterfinals in Doha’s Education City Stadium.
“A 96th minute penalty sent Iran past Japan 2-1 this afternoon at the #ASIANCUP2023,” Brentford said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Ghoddos has played a key role in helping Iran to advance to the Asian Cup’s semifinals.
