TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian commemorated the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution with a message emphasizing the revolution's achievements and urging for global cooperation.
In his address, Amirabdollahian praised Iran's advancements in technology, science, and industry, attributing them to the empowerment of women and youth following the Islamic Revolution.
Amirabdollahian expressed his greetings and warm wishes to Iranians worldwide, paying tribute to the revered Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He highlighted the strides made in various fields, including technology, science, industry, space exploration, medicine, and engineering, positioning Iran among the top countries globally in specific scientific and technological domains.
Acknowledging the crucial role of women and youth empowerment in these achievements, the Foreign Minister underscored their significance in driving progress within the country. Amirabdollahian reiterated Iran's commitment to supporting its citizens worldwide, with embassies and consulates fully prepared to provide necessary facilities and consular services. He emphasized the need to address global challenges such as unilateralism, highlighting its role in perpetuating crises and conflicts across various regions.
Drawing attention to recent developments, particularly in Gaza, the Foreign Minister condemned the atrocities committed by the occupying regime of Israel. He criticized the inefficiency of the United Nations Security Council in fulfilling its duties, calling for reforms to enhance multilateralism and address pressing global issues effectively.
“Under President Ebrahim Raisi's government, Iran's foreign policy prioritizes constructive interaction with all countries worldwide, with a particular focus on Asia and strong cooperation with neighboring nations,” the minister said.
