Ahmed Al-Ali to Referee Sepahan v Al-Hilal Match in ACL Round of 16
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Kuwaiti referee Ahmed Al-Ali will officiate the match between Iran’s Sepahan and Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the 2023-24 AFC Champions League Round of 16.
The match will be held in Isfahan’s Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium.
Kuwait’s Abdulhadi Al-Anzi and Abbas Gloom will assist him in the match.
The 37-year-old referee has previously officiated in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and AFC Champions League.
Al-Ali has been a FIFA international referee since 2019.
He officiated the match between Iran and Qatar in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup semifinals.
