2026 WCQ: Yusuke Araki to Officiate Iran-Turkmenistan Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yusuke Araki, a Japanese referee, will officiate Iran’s match against Turkmenistan in Group E of the Preliminary Joint Qualification - Round 2 for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027.
Araki, 37, has been a FIFA international referee since 2017.
Iran will host Turkmenistan on March 21 in Tehran.
Team Melli sits top of the group with four points out of two matches.
