Iran Starts 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup on High
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Iran national team kicked off the 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup on a high note on Sunday.
Team Melli Banovan defeated the UAE 16-0 at the Gorodskoi Katok in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Iran is scheduled to play against Kyrgyzstan on Monday.
The 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup is an international women's ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
This edition of the tournament takes place from March 24 to 30 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The tournament follows a single round robin format.
