Iranian Parliament Speaker Reiterates Support for Palestinian Resistance

During the meeting held this morning in Tehran, Qalibaf warmly welcomed the Hamas delegation, highlighting the remarkable resilience of Gaza in the face of the Israeli enemy. He remarked, "Today, Gaza has reached a point of hope and success that was beyond the logic of the global community."

Referring to the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation as a pivotal moment in history, Qalibaf praised the Palestinian resistance groups for their unwavering commitment, stating, "This operation has divided our enemies' and friends' analyses and strategies into two periods, before and after it."

Emphasizing Iran's unwavering support for Palestine, Qalibaf underscored, "We in the Islamic Republic consistently emphasize our solidarity for Palestine and the fight against the Zionist regime."

Reflecting on the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza Strip, Qalibaf asserted that victory would ultimately be determined by the strength of resistance, stating, "This war is not determined by less or more attack but rather by the continuation of resistance, and the side that has more resistance power will be the ultimate victor."

He further highlighted the enduring hardships faced by the people of Gaza and urged increased efforts from all contributors to the resistance front.

Drawing parallels with historical conflicts, Qalibaf invoked Quranic references, stating, "Today we must show that we are believers who, according to divine promise, will certainly be victorious in this war as well."

In response, Ismail Haniyeh expressed gratitude for Iran's unwavering support, noting the significance of their meetings at the Parliament. He praised Iran's historical and cultural connection with the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the importance of continued solidarity.

Haniyeh condemned the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime and stressed the urgent need for assistance for the people of Gaza, who have endured immense suffering.

Haniyeh continued by highlighting the resilience of the people of Gaza in the face of Israeli aggression, noting that despite the enemy's efforts, they have failed to achieve their military goals.

Regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Haniyeh stressed the urgent need for extensive assistance, citing reports of thousands of casualties and extensive Israeli crimes, including targeting Palestinians with white flags.

Haniyeh underscored the importance of achieving justice through the International Court of Justice, advocating for the recognition of the Zionist regime's crimes as genocide. He reiterated Hamas' commitment to both military and political paths, prioritizing the ultimate victory which is the expulsion of Zionists from Palestine.
