Iran’s Production of Home Appliances Up 32.5% in 9 Months
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The production of home appliances by Iran’s domestic companies registered a 32.5 percent growth in the nine months of the previous Iranian calendar year (March 21 to December 21, 2023), the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) said.
Iran’s major home appliances production companies produced over 5.3 million sets of home appliances including refrigerator-freezers, washing machines, and water coolers in the nine months of the previous Iranian calendar year, showing a 32.5% hike compared to the previous year’s corresponding period, Mehr news agency reported.
The domestic companies had manufactured more than four million sets of home appliances from March 21 to December 22, 2022.
