Iraqi Resistance Group Conducts Retaliatory Strikes on Israeli Targets

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Wednesday that it has carried out new retaliatory strikes on Israeli positions, targeting a vital site on the Dead Sea coast in response to the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said it has conducted new retaliatory strikes on Israeli positions in the occupied territories.

The Iraqi umbrella group for the country’s anti-terror movements made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday.

The group said it used drones to attack a vital Israeli target on the coast of the Dead Sea.

The operations are a response to the Israeli massacre of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, including women, children, and the elderly, the group stated.

The Iraqi group has vowed to continue retaliatory attacks on Israeli targets.

It has also targeted American military bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria in retaliation for Washington’s support of Israel's actions in Gaza.

The group has been launching attacks on Israeli targets ever since the occupying regime started a major offensive on the Gaza Strip early last October.

After Palestinian resistance movements launched a surprise attack against the Israeli regime on October 7, Tel Aviv started an onslaught on Gaza, attacking hospitals, houses, and mosques.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, Israeli attacks have killed 36,479 civilians, primarily women and children, and injured 82,777 others.
