2024 VNL: Germany Routs Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Germany swept past Iran 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-20) in the 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) on Sunday.
Moritz Karlitzek scored 21 points for Germany and Iran’s Amin Esmaeilnezhad collected 19 points.
Iran started Week 3 on high note, beating the US and the Netherlands but lost to France and Germany.
Team Melli failed to qualify for the 2024 VNL Finals.
The seven best-ranked national teams in the Preliminary Phase will join host Poland for the Finals, which will be held in Lodz from June 27 to 30.
