President’s Cup Group I: Iran Falls to Tunisia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Tunisia 26-23 in Group I of the President’s Cup on Sunday.
The Persians had suffered three successive losses against the Netherlands 34-11, Romania 33-15 and Brazil 30-22 in Group A of the 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship.
Fatemeh Merikh was awarded the Player of the Match.
Iran will play Chile on Tuesday.
