Esteghlal Khuzestan Defender Savio Roberto Pens Contract Extension
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Brazilian defender Savio Roberto penned a two-year deal extension with Iran’s Esteghlal Khuzestan.
He played 13 matches for the Iranian team and scored two goals.
Roberto joined Esteghlal Khuzestan from Finnish club Vaasan Palloseura in January and helped the Blues escape relegation from the Iran Professional League (IPL).
Esteghlal Khuzestan will start the 2024-25 IPL season under the leadership of Montenegrin coach Miodrag Bozovic.
