Iraqi Defender Akam Hashim Linked with Persepolis: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iraqi international defender Akam Hashim has reportedly been linked with a move to Iran’s Persepolis.
The 25-year-old defender currently plays for Erbil and he has confirmed that Persepolis is going to sign him in an interview with kurdistan24.net.
Persepolis will most likely part ways with Qatari defender Abdelkarim Hassan and media reports suggest that it is going to sign Hashim.
The Iranian league title holder will be led by Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido in the new season.
Persepolis will participate in the 2024-25 AFC Champions League Elite.
