Persepolis Eyes Mohamed Benyettou: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team has reportedly set its sights on signing Algerian forward Mohamed Benyettou.
Benyettou has played for the Qatari club Al-Wakrah since 2019.
The 34-year-old striker has played 103 matches for Al-Wakrah and scored 51 goals.
The Iranian club has reportedly been linked with Syrian forward Omar Al Somah as well.
The Iran league title holder will be led by Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido.
Persepolis will participate in the 2024-25 AFC Champions League Elite.
