Iran Volleyball Star Farhad Ghaemi Announces Retirement
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Former Iran volleyball team outside spiker Farhad Ghaemi announced his retirement.
Ghaemi was a member of Team Melli from 2011 to 2020 and won two golds in 2014 and 2018 Asian Games with the team.
He also helped Iran win a bronze medal at the World Grand Champions Cup in 2017.
Ghaemi most recently played for the Iranian volleyball club Foolad Sirjan.
He was among Iran’s golden generation in the last decade.
