Marcelo Méndez Shortlisted to Lead Iran Volleyball: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Marcelo Rodolfo Méndez is reportedly a candidate to take charge of the Iran volleyball team.
The 60-year-old coach currently serves as the head coach of the Argentina national team and the Polish PlusLiga team Jastrzębski Węgiel.
The Argentine has said he is just focused on his team’s performance in the 2024 Olympic Games at the moment.
Iran parted ways with Brazilian coach Mauricio Motta Paes in early June following poor results in the 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
