Iran Sweeps Kazakhstan in Asian Volleyball Games

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beat Kazakhstan 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-22) in the 2024 Asian Men's U-20 Volleyball Championship on Saturday.

Iran, the seven-time champion, had previously defeated China, Chinese Taipei and Qatar in Pool B.

Iran is scheduled to face South Korea in Pool F on Sunday.

The ongoing event is the 22nd edition of the Asian Men's U-20 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and the Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI).

The tournament is taking place in Surabaya, Indonesia, from July 23 to 30.

The competitions serve as Asia’s qualification tournament for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship.
