Leader: US, Israel behind Plot in Syria
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the US and the Zionist regime are the main elements behind the recent plot against Syria.
Addressing thousands of Iranian people of different social strata at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniya of Tehran on Wednesday, Ayatollah Khamenei said there is no doubt that what has happened in Syria was the outcome of a “joint American-Zionist plot”.
Pointing to the role that a neighboring government of Syria has played in this regard, the Leader said the main elements and plotters are the US and the Israeli regime.
The “real command room” for the plot in Syria belongs to the US and the Israeli regime, Ayatollah Khamenei added, pointing to unquestionable evidence for it.
