FIFA Ranking: Iran Maintains Position
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s national football team maintained its position in the FIFA ranking, released on Thursday.
The biggest mover is Vietnam, who improved two spots to occupy 114th with Hong Kong moving up a rung to 155th in the world rankings.
Japan stayed at 15th and Iran is second at 18th, while Korea Republic (23), Australia (26) and Qatar (48th) complete the top five in Asia.
Iraq is sixth (56th) followed by Uzbekistan on 58th.
Occupying eighth position is Saudi Arabia (59th), followed by the United Arab Emirates (63rd) and Jordan (64th).
The next edition of the FIFA Men’s World Ranking will be published on April 3, 2025.
