Persepolis has previously been linked with Portuguese Jose Vitor dos Santos Peseiro, former Croatia coach Slaven Bilic, ex-Dortmund trainer Edin Terzic, former Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac, ex-Real Madrid coach Rafael Benitez and Foolad coach Yahya Golmohammadi.
