Paulo Bento: We Will Do Our Best against Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The UAE coach Paulo Bento says that they are well aware how strong Iran is but they will do their best.
The UAE is scheduled to play Iran on Thursday in Tehran’Azadi Stadium.
The UAE sits third in Group A of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.
“The match against Iran will be very difficult because they are one of the best teams in Asia,” Bento said.
“We are ready to get good a result against Iran and will do our best. Iran aims to qualify for the World Cup for the fourth time in a row,” he added.
“We have four matches ahead of us and are optimistic to book our place in the World Cup,” the Portuguese coach concluded.
