We Have A Difficult Match against UAE: Ghalenoei
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran football coach Amir Ghalenoei says that they will have a difficult match against the UAE.
Team Melli will meet the Emirati side on Thursday in Group A of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
“The UAE is a strong team and we have a difficult task against them. The team has so many good new players but we are also well-prepared for the match,” Ghalenoei said.
“We are ready to win the match and make our nation happy. Some experts said that we are drawn in an easy task but as you see, Group A is a tough group,” he added.
