به گزارش گروه دانشگاه خبرگزاری تسنیم، جمعی از دانشجویان بسیجی دانشگاه‌های کشور در نامه‌ای به رئیس جمهور آمریکا ضمن یادآوری جنایات این کشور در حق ملت ایران از وی برای حضور در مراسم سالروز شکست حمله نظامی به طبس دعوت کردند. این نامه امروز توسط جمعی از دانشجویان به دفتر حافظ منافع آمریکا تحویل داده می‌شود.
در بخشی از این نامه که به زبان انگلیسی نیز ترجمه شده آمده است: ما ایرانی‌ها همه ساله در سالگرد حادثه طبس در صحرای طبس گرد هم می آییم تا ضمن تجدید خاطره این پیروزی بزرگ به یاد آوریم که وعده خداوند دفاع از مظلومان در مقابل زورگویان است،"استفاده از گزینه‌های روی میز بر علیه ایران " مدتهاست بخشی از ادبیات سیاسی شما و دولتمردان آمریکا شده اخیرا نیز تهدید ایران به بخشی جدا نشدنی از تبلیغات انتخاباتی کاندیداهای ریاست جمهوری کشور آمریکا تبدیل شده است.
نامه مذکور می‌افزاید: برای آنکه جنابعالی در مدت باقی مانده از دوران ریاست جمهوری خود مانندجیمی کارتر دچار سرافکندگی نشوید از شما دعوت می‌شود در معیت سایر کاندیداهای انتخابات آینده ریاست جمهوری کشورتان در مراسم 5 اردیبهشت ( 24 آوریل ) که در محل شکست نیروهای متجاوز ارتش کشورتان در صحرای طبس برگزار می‌شود شرکت کنید تا به چشم خود سرنوشت گزینه‌های روی میزتان را ببینید و بدانید که فقط موشک‌های ما نیست که خواب را از چشم شما برده بلکه باید از شن‌های کویرهای ایران هم وحشت داشته باشید.
