Iran Basketball Coach to Be Appointed in Coming Days
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Basketball Federation (IBF) plans to appoint its new head coach by the end of the week.
Iran is without a head coach since the 2014 Asian Games, where Team Melli finished in second place under the tutelage of Memi Becirovic.
IBF acting president Ramezan Ali Davaloo said that the federation will appoint the new head coach by the end of the week.
Iran will have to participate in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship for Men which will be held from September 23 to October 3.
The competiton will also serve as the Olympic qualification.
