Saeid Marouf on Halkbank’s Radar
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian international setter Saeid Marouf is said to be on the radar of Turkish Halkbank.
According to sportowefakty.pl, the Turkish Halkbank volleyball team would like to see Marouf in its squad for 2015/2016 season.
The Iranian setter recently won the gold medal in the Champions League with Russian Zenit Kazan. However, the European champion decided not to extend his contract.
Over the past season, Halkbank was not satisfied with its setter, the Finnish Mikko Esko, who failed to meet the expectations of a team and even lost his place in the line-up to Ulaş Kıyak.
