Iran Defeats Colombia at Futsal Grand Prix
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran futsal team defeated Colombia 4-1 in its opening match in Group B of the Grand Prix 2015.
Hossein Tayyebi netted twice and Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh and Ahmad Esmaeilpour were both on target.
Iran will play Angola on Thursday.
Group A consists of host Brazil, Paraguay, Guatemala, and Zambia.
The international tournament is underway in Uberaba, Brazil from November 4 to 8.
Iran has finished in second place twice out of nine editions.
