Foolad Held in Ahvaz Derby: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foolad and Esteghlal Khuzestan football teams shared the spoils in a goalless draw in Ahvaz derby on Thursday.
In the match held in Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium, Yahya Golmohammadi’s Foolad was held to a 0-0 draw.
Foolad is third with 25 points, three points adrift of 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) leader Tractor.
Esteghlal and Chadormalou also played out a goalless draw in Yazd’s Shahid Nasiri Stadium.
On Friday, Persepolis will host Kheybar, Sepahan meet Havadar, Nassaji host Tractor, Malavan face Aluminum, Shams Azar play Gol Gohar and Mes meet Zob Ahan.
