Iran’s Sepahan Hungry to Beat Al Ittihad in ACL: Igor Stimac
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Sepahan coach Igor Stimac says that they have a great desire to defeat Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia in Group A of the AFC Champions League.
The Iranian football team has been scheduled to meet Al Ittihad in Doha’s Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Wednesday.
Sepahan is in fourth place in the group, five points adrift of Lokomotiv Tashkent.
“We have prepared very well for this important match and I’m confident the team will play well,” said Stimac.
“It will be very difficult for the two teams but we have a great desire to win and get the three points."
“Al Ittihad is a strong team and it has a lot of experience in this competition. We should be wary of their strength and avoid making mistakes because they know how to take advantage,” the Croat added.
