Syria to Halt All Military Operations from Midnight: Army
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syria's army said Thursday it would halt all military operations from midnight after Russia announced rebels and the government had signed a ceasefire agreement.
"The general command of the armed forces announces a complete halt to all hostilities on Syrian territory from the zero hour of December 30th," it said in a statement reported by AFP.
It added that the halt excluded combat against Daesh and Al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, previously known as Al-Nusra Front.
