Iran’s Hataminejad Named Indoor Hockey World Cup Best Keeper
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Sasan Hataminejad from Iran was named as the best goalkeeper at the 2018 Indoor Hockey World Cup.
In the bronze medal match, Iran made history as the team became the first non-European team to win a medal at the Indoor Hockey World Cup.
The hugely talented Iranian team beat Australia 5-0 with a classy display of passing hockey.
At the end of the competition, Hataminejad won the award for helping Iran comes third in the prestigious competition.
Host Germany and Austria played in the final match at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin, where the game was drawn at 3-3 and then Austria beat Germany 3-2 in shoot-out.
