Asian U-18 Volleyball Championship: Iran Beaten by Chinese Taipei
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Chinese Taipei in Pool B of the 12th Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship on Saturday.
The Iranian team lost to Chinese Taipei in straight sets (25-20, 25-23, 25-19) at Poursharifi Gymnasium in Tabriz.
Iran started the Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship with a 3-1 win over Thailand on Friday.
The 12th Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship serves as the Asian qualification tournament for the 2019 FIVB Men’s U-19 Volleyball World Championship.
Only top four teams will secure their berths for the next year’s world meet in Egypt.
