2024 Asian U-20 Volleyball Championship: Iran Advances to Semifinals
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran edged past South Korea 3-2 (25-22, 25-20, 24-26, 23-25, 15-8) in Pool F of the 2024 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship on Sunday.
Iran, the seven-time champion, had previously defeated China, Chinese Taipei, Qatar and Kazakhstan in the competition.
The ongoing event is the 22nd edition of the Asian Men's U-20 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and the Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI).
The tournament is taking place in Surabaya, Indonesia, from July 23 to 30.
The competitions serve as Asia’s qualification tournament for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship.
