Scuffles Break Out as Protests against Trump at White House Enters 9th Day (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Protests continue against US President Donald Trump outside the White House in DC on Tuesday following his controversial statements about Russia at the Helsinki Summit.

Protesters, including musical performers, chanted "treason" in both English and Russian and demanded Trump's removal from office.

Christine Pelosi, daughter of Nancy Pelosi, participated and said that minority groups are the overwhelming victims of Russia's alleged "hack" of the American electoral process.

Protester Vlad Burlutsky also spoke out, explaining that he's been living in the United States after leaving Russia, but that he seriously considered relocating upon Trump's election.

Ruply video shows that the protest group sarcastically used Burlutsky as a translator into Russian "for Trump, who doesn't understand English."

A handful of pro-Trump supporters confronted the Occupy Lafayette Square protest, one of which was pushed down after screaming pro-Trump slogans.
