Hezbollah Launches Attacks on Israeli Military Positions

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Hezbollah fighters have conducted multiple operations against the Zionist regime’s military positions in response to the recent Israeli actions in Gaza and southern Lebanon.

Fighters from Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement have conducted a series of operations against Israeli military positions in the northern part of the 1948 occupied territories.

These actions were in response to the brutal aggression on Gaza and assaults on southern Lebanese regions.

Hezbollah said in a brief statement that its members launched a salvo of rockets at the Israeli Ramtha military outpost in the occupied Kfar Shuba hills, hitting the designated targets precisely.

The resistance group also targeted the al-Summaqa site with a barrage of rockets and Zar'it barracks with artillery shells.

Hezbollah fighters launched a squadron of kamikaze drones at the newly-established headquarters of Israeli forces at Hanita kibbutz in the Western Galilee region.

The aerial assault caused fatalities and casualties among the troops stationed there.

The movement said the airstrike came in reprisal for Israeli attacks on the southern Lebanese town of Adloun and Houla village.

Separately, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted the command center of the Israeli military’s Northern Corps at Ein Zeitim base with Grad rockets, resulting in “direct hits.”

Hezbollah and Israel have been exchanging deadly fire since early October last year, shortly after Israel launched a war against the Gaza Strip following a surprise operation by Hamas.

The Lebanese resistance movement has vowed to continue its retaliatory attacks as long as Israel continues its Gaza war, which has so far killed at least 38,983 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

Hezbollah officials have repeatedly said they do not want a war with Israel while stressing that they are prepared in case it occurs.

Two Israeli wars waged against Lebanon in 2000 and 2006 were met with strong resistance from Hezbollah, resulting in the retreat of Israeli forces in both conflicts.
