Hundreds Killed, Injured in Flash Floods in Northern Iraq (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Iraqi Health Ministry reported that at least 180 people were injured and 21 killed after flash floods hit northern Iraq on Sunday.
Damaged and inundated roads were seen in Salah ad-Din province on Sunday, with some vehicles having become stuck in the mud.
Residents were also seen walking with their belongings along the streets amid the reported displacement of thousands of people.
The recent flooding is the result of heavy rainfall ongoing in Iraq for two days with the provinces of Nineveh and Salah ad-Din being the most affected.
