Iran’s Beiranvand Dreams of Playing against CR7 in Turin Derby
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Persepolis goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand dreams of playing against Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin derby.
Beiranvand has been linked with a move to Serie A football club Torino.
"I dream of playing against CR7 in Turin derby,” the Iranian goalkeeper Beiranvand told Tuttosport.
Beiranvand saved a penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo in the match against Portugal in the 2018 World Cup and thrusted his name into the international spotlight.
He also helped Persepolis win three successive Iran league titles.
