Iran’s Discus Thrower Bajoulvand Wins Silver at 2024 Paralympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hassan Bajoulvand of Iran claimed a silver medal in the Men's Discus Throw - F11 of the 2024 Paralympic Games on Thursday.
He finished in second place with a throw of 41.75 meters.
Oney Tapia of Italy won the gold with 41.95 meters and the bronze medal went to Spain’s Alvaro del Amo Can with 39.60 meters.
Athletics at the 2024 Summer Paralympics take place at Stade de France in Paris.
Iran has sent 65 athletes in 10 sports to the Games.
