Iran Powerlifter Bakhtiar Takes Bronze at 2024 Paralympic Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s powerlifter Mohsen Bakhtiar secured a bronze medal in the 2024 Paralympic Games on Thursday.
He came third with a lift of 197kg.
The gold medal went to Egyptian Mohamed Elmenyawy in the men’s 59kg powerlifting competition with 201kg and China’s Qi Yongkai won the silver with 200kg.
The competition was held at La Chapelle Arena.
