FIFA World Ranking: Iran Remains 33rd
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national football squad retained its February’s 33rd position with 1,489 points in the newly published FIFA World Rankings.
Japan is the best Asian team in the ranking with 1500 points and South Korea is third with 1464 points.
The FIFA Ranking remained unchanged since its previous edition on April 9 as the world keeps fighting against the spread of the novel coronavirus and all international football fixtures, including friendlies, were put on hold.
Belgium remains top ahead of France and Brazil, while England and Uruguay are 4th and 5th respectively. Lurking behind them in descending order are Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, and Colombia.
The next FIFA rankings will be published on July 16. We will have to see if, by then, there are any changes.
