Iran’s Larijani Due in Lebanon after Syria Visit

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ali Larijani, an advisor to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, will be visiting Lebanon after a trip to Syria.

The sophisticated Iranian politician said in a post on his X account on Friday morning that he will depart Damascus for Beirut to hold meetings with senior Lebanese officials.

Larijani arrived in Damascus on Thursday for talks with Syrian authorities.

He held a meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

On Thursday night, Tasnim denied media stories about the martyrdom of Larijani in an Israeli airstrike on Damascus.

A number of media outlets spread rumors that the advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution was killed in the airstrikes that the Zionist regime launched on Damascus on Thursday.
