Nassaji, Foolad Match Cancelled after Players Test Positive for COVID-19
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The match between Nassaji and Foolad in the Iran Professional League (IPL) was canceled after 16 players of Foolad tested positive for the coronavirus.
Foolad delegation returned to Ahvaz from Sari on Sunday.
The match between Pars Jonoubi and Esteghlal had also been postponed after several players of Esteghlal football team tested positive for COVID-19.
If five players of a team test positive, the team’s matches will be canceled, according to acting head of the Iran Football League Organization Soheil Mahdi.
