Iran’s Zarif Due in Kuwait for Talks
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif plans to visit Kuwait today, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said Thursday.
He said that during the trip, Zarif will hold talks with the Arab country’s senior officials on Iran-Kuwait bilateral ties as well as regional developments.
The Iranian top diplomat is currently in Oman. He had a meeting with Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi in Muscat on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, Zarif visited Qatar and Iraq to hold talks with those countries’ officials.
