Tokyo 2020: Iran’s Greco-Roman Wrestler Geraei Looks to Win Gold
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Greco-Roman wrestler Mohammad Reza Geraei looks to win Iran’s first gold medal in the wrestling competition in the 2020 Olympic Games.
He defeated Georgian Ramaz Zoidze 6-1 in the semi-finals of the 67kg bout and secured his place in the final match.
Geraei will face Parviz Nasibov from Ukraine on Wednesday in the final match.
The wrestling competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics is taking place at the Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku.
